Textile Ministry wants garments included in early harvest programme of India-UK FTA

Officials say duty discount on both sides is appropriate as imports of textiles from Uk are low.

The textile Ministry is keen to get clothes and America protected within the early harvest program being worked out between India and the United Kingdom as a precursor to a full-fledged unfastened trade settlement (FTA), government officers have stated.
